I was pleasantly surprised with this. I actually bought it for Thanksgiving but nobody wanted any. Jump 7 months later and I thought I'd give it a shot. A touch of sweetness, well balanced and can't beat the price. I'll look for this again.

First foray into Washington wines. Better than expected, not as sweet as expected either. Softer and more round that it's Alsatian counterparts, good to drink now for the right price.
My retailer had the 08 and the 09 on the shelves at the same time and I bought one of each...the 09 was actually much better.

This is one of my guilty pleasure wines. I can get this for less than $6, and it's light and tasty! Spices, flowers, lychee, and citrus (hmm, just saw jsums' description, it's very accurate). Sweet, but good acidity keeps it balanced. This vintage seems a bit lighter and not quite as complete on the palate as the last one I tried, but it's still awfully good. Will buy again.

chose to drink of bottle of this by random with a nice spicy Thai dinner while in NYC; was pleased to find it in a local shop and bought again. drank over 2 days. a delightfully sweet bouquet and flavor profile without being cloying. nice tart semi-lengthy finish
