  • Very good indeed. A bit richer and more tropical perhaps but still with great elegance and balance. Fine acidity. Very decent length. Some papaya on top of citrus. Straw, honey. Full bodied mouth-feel. Standing up very well, fully drinkable but not tired.

  • Excellent - this wine is very much ready and very enjoyable. Quite deep in colour, fruity nose, vanilla and tropical fruit in the mouth. Not over-worked and not too oaky either.

  • Another great showing for this wine, and alas, this was my last bottle. Drank over lunch and dinner during the same day, it showed much better at dinner time, after having been aerated for several hours. Med to dark straw color. Initially it revealed oaky aromas that gradually turned to tropical fruits like pinneapple and mango. Honey, beeswax, apple and pronounced herbal scents alongside minerality were also present. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied, powerful, complex but in the same time light on its feet thanks to high acidity. Very long aftertaste. Probably at peak, but could last even further. A top-class Chardonnay from Australia and a perfect example of the country's new school of wine-making.

  • Honeysuckle on the nose, ripe melon, cloves, great texture and still a splash of acid with an underpinning of oak - excellent and right at it's peak

  • Last bottle I have and, based on my last tasting of this wine, this is the time to drink this vintage for my palate - the oak and fruit are beautifully integrated and balanced. I should have the patience to see what tertiary characteristics develop over time but, when it tastes this good, it seems a pity to wait!
