Burgundies at Chiu Tang: The previous taster managed to nail this as Chablis right off the bat which was very impressive. My favourite of the night probably because it's hard to catch Burgundies at their peak and this was a great wine at its apogee despite the dark colour. The sheer heft and the waxy texture that Raveneau manages without it getting too heavy was quite a unique experience, great complexity.

Good to revisit this. Seashell, oyster, stone fruit, consummate and crushed rocks on the nose. For Chablis of this age, it is drinking at peak. Very similar to Rlove’s comment.

Good a little round and less reductive than the 04. Still a good wine but was a little ripe.

Quite cheesy (think Epoisse), fat and buttery. Lacking a bit of structure, hot vintage is noticeable. But still good.

Super intense nose, white truffle, flinty, fire stone, citrus, reductive nose, strong taste, complexity, long aftertaste, can still age
