  • This wine is drinking excellent right now. It was a bit primary after popping the cork but developed nicely during the first hour and kept on evolving over dinner.

Light ruby/red color. Full aromas of blueberry, dark chocolate, some rose petals and hints of tar. Following trough full bodied with well integrated tannins, fresh acidity and balanced fruit. The finish is long and fresh.
A great match with the Risotto con creme al tartufo we had during dinner.
    Drink now - 2016.

  • Light ruby color. Full aromas of blueberry and raspberry with some tar and flora hints. Following trough to a medium full body with some good fruit, balanced acidity and smooth tannins. Rounded of by a long finish that remains fresh throughout.
It needed quite a bit of time to open up in the glass. About 4 hours after opening the bottle it really started to shine. But then it presented itself as a 'junior Barolo'. Actually a lot better than some Barolo I've had!
Perhaps a bit to young, it will develop for a few years to come. Drink 2011 - 2016.
