Final bottle - as April note but even better more dimension and nuance, stunning purity, just lacks weight of grand cru - just shows how good the wines from this relatively unsung producer can be, though there has since been a generation change and some fragmentation of the estate, much of which is now labelled Thomas Morey. Fine plus (18/20).

11th of 12, opened an hour but not decanted, previous notes very good to fine, two premoxed, this bottle palish yellow; quite floral but with underlying mineral and chalk with refreshing lime twist; medium, very long, persistent and complex, mature but scope for further development. Fine (17.5/20).

There was so much sulphur showing on day one that it was impossible to taste. day 2 - still tons of sulphur and very bitter aftertaste. give it one more day.
