Pop and pour last night. On opening, the nose coming from the bottle was amazing. Some vigorous swirling for about 5 minutes prior to drinking the first glass resulted in a huge (in a good way) wine still full of dark fruits, some earthy undertones, and a small amount of vegetal and spice tones. Overall, a ton of fun to sit and smell. The bottle didnt last long, it was drinking so beautifully and was such a hit with J and I that it was probably gone within an hour. I was thrilled to see how this bottle had held up, it easily could have gone several more years with no problem. The acidity was also very impressive for an 07. I wish this wasnt my last bottle, but reinforces why I continue to buy AW wines.
