Honeyed like a Sauternes with a lychee-almond secondary note. I appreciated the value of this 750mL format and would not hesitate to serve for a large gathering. However, for me, the finish was somewhat short and the acidity was sour like a less than stellar vintage or some volatile acidity that got out of hand in the cellar.

Doux et sucré, on retrouve vraiment les mêmes goûts que dans les Sauternes, mais de façon moins prononcé. Moins complexe qu'un Sauternes, il donne quand même le même réconfort.

Saint-Croix-Du-Mont wines are just like Sauternes, but far less expensive. The price/taste/nose/fun factor is quite high. Sure it is not a sauterne, it is not as subtle, the terroire is a bit different, but hell it is good anyway! For 21$ a bottle of 750 ml, it is a great value for a lot a fun during a Christmas party with all the family!
I would recommend taking it with a Roquefort (blue cheese), as salty as possible, and an Epoisse (also quite good with Chablis :) )
Over all, for the price, I am wondering how you can have better!

Tight nose. Palate: nice flavors, but quite light. Finish was longer than I expected from the mouthfeel. All in all: inexpensive, tasty, but eminently forgettable.

Had all the elements of a nice Sauternes but less pronounced. Went well with blue-veined cheese and nuts.
