Very light, almost clear yellow with green tinges. Nose comes off as being very sweet making you think overwhelmingly of honey. The high iron content of the vineyard's trademark soil is very apparent. Almost like sucking on a coin or set of keys. The mouth is off-dry and laden with sweet pear and fresh white flowers. Made me think of crisp white linens drying on a clothesline in the wind on a hot summer day. Fell a little flat in the acidity department leaving it slightly off-balance, but this is a crowd-pleaser. Really easy to drink, low-alcohol, and definitely not your typical Riesling. Perfect for a summer garden party or day by the pool.

Not sourced from the estate -- just supposed to be the fun wine. Its not on the famous hill of Gunerlock (?).
Petrol and fruit character on the nose, showing more evolution or maybe more "maturity" than what I would expect at this price ($14). It has weight and gives allot more for its price.

Deutschland (Wine Exchange - Orange, CA): Stone fruit driven on the nose with some musky perfume thrown in. In the mouth this is sweet and glossy with low fruit density in an approachable style. There is some minerality to balance the sweetness yielding a quaffable though simple wine.

Mild nose of petrol and slate, apricot, citrus. Taste of sour citrus and apricot, slick in the mouth, a mild wine but enough acid to cut through lighter asian foods with sweet and sour sauces.
