Yes there was oak but moderate oak couple with clean, crisp green apple fruit and a nice mineral backbone that showed touches of citrus on the edges. A big and powerful but nice that the fruit is driving instead of the barrel.

  Typical California chardonnay profile -- but in a good way. Creamy tropical fruit flavors, still crisp but starting to lose its edge. Not too much wood. Best to drink now.

  Fruit predominates in taste, correct CA Chardonnay flavors. Acid a bit low now, smooth oak notes. Nice wine, but drink up soon.
