  • Similar to my prior bottles - fun, approachable with a ton of Vosne-like spice and tea. Not at all ripe or heavy. Well done 2006 north end NSG.

  • Lovely wine. In a way more Vosne than NSG. Lots of spice on the nose and no rusticity on palate or finish. Drinking at its peak I reckon , though I am sure it will stay in this plateau for at least another 5 years. Lovely mid weight palate depth and tannins are so fine and velvety. No dryness just sexy Pinot. Very impressive .

  • Very Vosne with spice-filled macerated black cherry and toasted herb aromas. Ripe and lush fruit is fresh and persistent. Spicy finish.

  • This was solid. Brought to restaurant and had it decanted. Slowly drank over the course of 2 hours. Nothing too showy or flashy, just solid NSG. I think an additional year or two could make it excel but it's fine now. I don't think the fruit is drying out, just need a good pairing. Had with some fatty beef ribs and it was nice to cut through the fat.

  • Vibrant crimson color with lively garnet glints. Brooding, captivating nose of Bing cherry, clove, and some spicy cedar wood notes. Palate is comprised of luscious blackberries, transitioning to a faintly oaky sweetness on the lingering finish. There's a very subtle, uniform limestone minerality to this one, but the wine is so juicily delicious on the palate that the inattentive risk missing it. Entering its drinking window, but there's intriguing aromas and flavors lurking just below the surface throughout, with enough acidity remaining that I'd confidently cellar this for another 3+ years. Lovely, elegant red Burgundy, and a good value for the Côte de Nuits at $60-70.

(Tardy Jean Nuits St.Georges Les Boudots) Medium-plus colour. Red-black fruit that is quite high-toned. Great texture with velvet but not astringent tannin. Lots of dimension. The ‘just right’ acidity lets the flavour linger. This is also very good
