Bought at the vineyard and stored in a climate-controlled cellar since then. Found this bottle as we're clearing out our cellar. Unscrewed and poured. Straw color. Green apple with a little oak and some flower and petrol on the nose. Good mouthfeel, well balanced, dry. Medium to full body. Notes of apple and grapefruit with pear, lime and champagne grapes. Tart with some underlying sweetness. Medium finish. Wine Spectator had suggested to drink through 2018. All in all, this wine has held up quite well and made it past that drinking window with ample room to spare.

Quite excellent dry Riesling. Mineral, petrol, but still with a good amount of fruit and a decent amount of acidity. It opened up nicely after half an hour, and was excellent, even at room temperature.

Excellent value! Lots of green apple and ripe grapefruit with a great acidic finish with notes of limestone. Definite petrol overtones throughout which isn't always the case with domestic riesling. Would be hard-pressed to mistake this for any other varietal.

Very good bottle. Really enjoying the rieslings in the summer weather. Crisp, tart without being astringent. Excellent match to a Caprisi salad of fresh tomatoes and mozzarella.
