On first opening this was cold, medium straw colored, smelling and tasting lean and powerful with great extract. When evaluated 40 minutes later, it had been allowed to warm to proper temp: full straw with hints of gold; nose of apple and kiwi with white flowers; as it continued to warm (still fairly cool) and with air, the oak comes out; good acidity still. Enough youthfulness to hope another year or two might better integrate the oak though I’m probably badly outnumbered by you oak lovers out there (admirers of the other Boillot,...). I would have scored it 2 or 3 points higher had the oak been less intrusive. 92+

Tasted next to an excellent 2010 Kumeu River Hunting Hill. Nice richness on the nose, dense and layered. Almost a little oily on the palate, good weight, fresh, mineral. A little linear, but certainly long and vibrant finish. Drink or keep.

Nose of citrus and smoke, hint of butter and mineral... Very elegant, ripe citrus, yellow apple, nice tension in the finish, not very long but very elegant.

Light straw color. Initial nose of burnt rubber, but leads to subtle floral notes. Very balanced wine with good acid.
