Now a mellow gold color, but flavors very similar to my last note from 2013. Lemon and peach. Suave and silky. Lovely, but maybe time to drink the rest? Paired with roast cod.

This is how to get over the COVID doldrums this Friday night. One bottle of a beautiful2008 grand cru Batard Montrachet, 1 wheel of Jasper Hill Winnemere cheese and a fresh baguette. All were perfect but the wine was exceptional, light yellow color, decanted for 30-45 minutes producing a gentle apple/pear nose, concentrated fruit in perfect balance, very smooth long finish. Feeling better already!

We were reluctant to open this Grand Cru now but we were interested in its development since we hold several bottles. It needed 30-45 minutes of airtime before the beautiful bouquet of floral pear appeared. light golden yellow color, concentrated citrus and stone fruit with good dose of minerals, perfect balance with a long heavenly finish. will surely improve over the next few years but very tasty now.

very good, but had a hint of caramel that makes me think drink up ASAP, notwithstanding the hint of coming premox this had decent acidity and citrus palate alongside some sweetness... just a little soft for my taste at this point... realizing there is no reason not to drink all my white burgundy young... i love the tension and grip and acidity, and i hate the smoke / caramel that these day (post '94) haunts these wines at their middle age
