Golden in color, glistening shiny with thick glycerol oily, grapefruit caramel honeysuckle with very smooth viscosity and gorgeous mouth-feel. Delicious

The wine was medium yellow-golden in colour and offered dried apricot, ripe red apple, tangerine, biscuit and nutty notes as well as signs of bottle age on the nose. On the palate the wine showed apricot, red apple, ripe lemon, some hazelnut and first signs of bottle age, paired with medium-plus acidity and good length. The medium- to full-bodied wine improved with moderate aeration. A solid Meursault Villages!

An excellent village-level wine. Honey, lemon and butter with some minerality on its medium-length. High-acidity for this level and age, medium-bodied. Good.

WCC Chassagne and Puligny Premier Crus Blind (Yono's Restaurant, Albany, NY): [This was supposed to be a 2003 Joseph Drouhin Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières. Not sure why this was brought instead.] Big crisp buttery nose. Full, rich, buttery and stony. Not very complex, but quite drinkable.
