Pale bright gold. Very ripe tropical fruit driven nose, pineapple, crème brulee, noticeable oak/wood, mineral and sweet spices. Good concentration, ripe yellow fruit and oak driven palate impression, bright acidity, good mineral presence and a medium finish with a hint of oak and creme brulee at the end. I agree with MIKEATL in that this reminds me a mature Rhys chardonnay.

Allemand, Jamet, Burgs, Barolo, Yquem, and more: A little woody and full bodied with plenty of fresh fruit, and enough minerality and acidity keep it from being unwieldy. Tasted blind, I was on the fence between a good California Chardonnay in a restrained style and a white Burgundy before concluding the latter for no good reason in particular.

Chardonnay - BYOB (Le Sommelier): Classic, tight with some elegance and lovely intensity.
