Brownish colour made me a bit worried that I missed the drinking window. But thankfully aromas were still ok. Sweet, peachy flavours coupled with good balancing acidity. I think the wine is a bit past it’s peak but still a nice drink. However, I suggest to quickly open up any remaining bottles.

NobleRottersSydney - Best Wines to share (Verde, East Sydney): [375ml, 9.3%, screwcap] {Gordon} Limes and green apples, along with rich botrytis Riesling aromas. The palate is medium-dry, rides on an acid frame, and manages lusciousness without heaviness. Has a cool pureness which dominates everything; culminates in a medium-length finish which remains sweet without ever cloying or sagging. Probably best over the next 5 years.

{375ml, screwcap, 9.3%} Not dark at all; enticing aromatics chiefly of lime juice. Palate is moderately sweet, only a little evidence of botrytis, tastes heavily of limes and citric flavours; nothing at all in the marmalade/apricot spectrum. In some ways a bit simple, but beautifully executed in the style; it's eminently gluggable, and the low alcohol does wonders for the balance. Should easily hold another 3-5 years, but I'm not sure how it will gain from the cellar time.

{screwcap, 9.3%} There's a little development apparent here on the nose, which is all sweet lime and lychee, but not so much in appearance, which remains a pretty faint straw/yellow with a mysterious flash of green. It's still quite light on the palate, moderately sweet, but with lime-like acid which maintains freshness. Botrytis is a character in the story, not the whole plot. A little one-dimensional in flavour, it still manages a medium-length finish. Pretty good overall, but probably at best within the next 5 years.

{screwcap, 9.3%} Confirming January's note, back on home soil. Pale colour, clean and refreshing citric/lime aromas, mild botrytis. The palate is moderately sweet, but still light and airy. The wine doesn't cloy, but skips lightly across the palate, with good coverage and a clean finish. Not noticeably acidic - rather it's the balance that is most impressive. Good work.
