  Needs to open, but once it does, it's juicy on the palate but has a very short finish.

  Tasted over 2 days. Dark red....stained my lips. Absolutely zero scent on nose that any of the 4 of us could discern...later I tho't there was a hint of tobacco. Taste was strange. Initially a huge burst of dark cherries and maybe raspberries that lingered. I wanted to like it but it seem odd, especially since there wasn't a hint of either of these on nose. Finish was fruity and bitter at the same time. 2nd evening was similar but bitterness had subsided. None of us were particularly wild about this wine. Taste was so different we wondered if something had been added to the wine. Maybe we simply weren't used to the blend. This wasn't horrible but so different...........
