Rivulets of silt and onion, this bad boy opened up like a barn door in winter, but soon warmed to the tones of a summer evening. Punctures of pepper, a peekaboo of raspberry, it finished like Secretariat in the Belmont. Tasty delicious!

A good drinking, fully mature Pomerol that is rich in melted pomerol chocolate with lots of dried red flowers. The wine built and got thicker and the best part was the last part, transitioning into cola with a firm core. Perfect tannin structure with resinating dryness. I would say its drinking at optimum. Drink

Medium bodied, fully mature, with an earthy, fresh, red plum, cherry and espresso core. The wine requires drinking over the next 5 years or so, to get the most from its soft, textured fruits.

Fruit on the nose but limited fruit on the palate. Likely a year or so past prime. Still has presence of tannins with a nice pepper / spiced finished.

Monthly tasting club "The Tasting Club"; Better Bordeaux of 15+ years old (@ My place): Beautiful and mature bouquet with dark berries, toast and beautiful oak. On the palate red and dark berries, cherries, soft tannin and also still showing enough freshness and power. Lovely wine now, and don’t wait too long.
