  Decanted for two hours. Beautiful expression of Barolo near its peak. Should drink well for another 5-10 years.

  Popped, poured and consumed over a few hours. Initially, this was a bit funky, with mushroom, earth and raisiny notes. Ann said it reminded her of Amarone. With air, it freshened some, but still had a lot of earthy, leathery notes. Darker fruit tones; maybe a touch overripe. Not bad, but nothing to get excited about either. I have another bottle or two that I will try to drink in the next year or so.
