This was the best bottle of this wine so far. It outperformed the price point. I have 2021 down as the last year for my drink window, but it did not exhibited any notes that make be believe it is tiring. It is a classic Rioja.

The last bottle of this wine that I drank was off from prior bottles. This bottle was back to what it was before......perhaps I am selling it short and should be a 93. A deep/dark Rioja.

No formal notes. I had been saving this for a night of paella and other delicious Spanish inspired foods and while I wouldn't call it transcendent, this was really solid and age has been kind to this. I decanted for about an hour prior and that seemed like an appropriate amount of time for it to stretch its legs. Perhaps a touch modern but not overly so. It was very well balanced and a delightful compliment to the meal of paella and smoked ribs. The group universally loved it so I guess that's something. Based off this bottle, I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was still drinking well at 2025.

An 89 at best. I should have drunk my remaining bottles earlier. This drinking experience echoed a review another cellartracker.com drinker posted in mid-May. It could be this bottle is a one off......I hope so. My previous tastings of this one yielded 93 ratings.

Still a superb wine. Good berry fruit, plums, but the fruit is drying out a bit. Sandalwood, incense, baking spices and a touch of balsamic.
