Method: blind; pop and pour; white wine glass; chilled
Look: medium brown; viscous
Nose: pecan pie. baking spices, honey, molasses, brown sugar, orange
Palate: nuts, raisin; long finish of burnt toast, burnt butter, nutmeg, coffee; medium+ sweetness; full- body; medium+ acidity
Overall thoughts: This was likely more oxidized than it should've been and showed quite a good amount of bitter notes on the palate that I wasn't a fan of. Having said that, it has a nice nose and has the sweetness and structure to juuust hold up to and contrast those bitter notes. Pretty good wine.

Dark gold color. Still showing nicely. Honey and butterscotch, as expected, but some fresh red apple notes. Sorghum with lemony notes on the long finish.

Very tasty, rich, creamy sweet but excellent character after all these years--light gold, butterscotch notes, silky and yummy. Compared with 1975 Coutet. Renee France vs. CA tasting.
