I have loved Zinfandel for the entire wine-loving phase of my life. It's so wide-ranging, so versatile, and generally pretty affordable. This old-vine Zin from the Russian River Valley is wonderful; no jam, no raisin, just black and red berries with mocha and spice. The wine exhibits that mid-palate flourish that washes the flavor throughout your mouth. Subtle tannins and medium acidity finish out this fine wine.

Love this wine. Brown sugar on the nose, flavors of ripe plum, and some of that old vine spice. Full-bodied, easy to drink on its own but I bet it would be a great accompaniment to the right meal.

A stunning Zinfandel. Blackberry and plum are both present, along with a spiciness that's more than simply pepper. Mouth-filling with a medium-length finish.
