I thought this was pretty decent - I dont have a huge amount of experience with Cab Sauvignon from Washington State but imagined it might be a little leafy with the cool climate but actually this was perfectly ripe and balanced, smooth on the palate, not too tannic and not too monstrous, all in all and an elegant, flavoursome Cab which slipped down very nicely.

Reflective garnet with medium viscosity in the glass. Bell pepper, forest floor and dark fruit on the nose. Secondary bramble. Medium body with pepper, dark fruit and chalk on the palate. Secondary coffee and earth. Tongue coating, but not mouth coating. Medium finish. Simple and a bit abrasive, but still drinkable.

(Magnificent Wine Co. Steak House Columbia Valley) Nose shows BBQ'd green pepper along with a lot of bright fruit (predominantly blueberries) and light floral notes. Palate is absolutely not what I was expecting with a light, fruity taste that doesn’t display much oak or tannins and has low alcohol. An enjoyable easy drinker. 100% Cabernet. 13% alcohol.

Same as previous tasting note. We also used it for cooking.

Raw but with strong flavor. Dry. Go with steak. Excellent for the price.
