Bill's Monthly Lunch - April 2013 (Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind – This was slightly corked. The TCA didn’t seem to kill the nose or the palate but it was there. Underneath was bright and ripe red fruit and mint. Seemed very cab-like.

If I didn't know it was a zin (I did, since I opened it!) I might have thought it was a cab. Lovely balance, violets, long finish. Not especially fruity.
Ripe full bodied, lacking a bit in depth and liveliness and showing tea flavors on the finish. Worked well with our meaty meal at Hennington's in Granbury, TX.
rich strawberry & nutmeg with firm but smooth tannins
