  • Stunning. Ready to drink now, but I suppose it could even age another 5 to 10 years. Rounded, silky tannins, scents of raspberry, and cut flowers. Outstanding palate of red berries, a hint of vanilla, a hint of liquorice, very long gentle but assertive finish. My wife and I absolutely loved it! I decanted it gently about 1.5 to 2 hours before enjoying it, and we had it with an exquisite organic, slow raised, and slow cooked roasted chicken. At the end of the meal, it had come to its full, magnificent potential, and with a slither of Roquefort, my God.... it did shine! What a pity I only have 2 bottles left... But hey, “carpe idem” !

  • A complex nose of sweet dark red cherry, red currant and strawberry are mixed with noble fungal aromas/sous bois that bring beautiful intrigue to the fruit. Tangy and sweet with good midpalate presence and ends perfumed, with great acidity. Good overall balance.

  • This bottle was more developed wtih more tertiary aromas and flavors and seemed to lack a bit of energy and freshness compared the other bottle. Very Chambolle-styled aromas of warm earth, blood orange, mineral and a bit of meat and underbrush mark the nose. There is a bit of silkiness that underlines the palate with similar flavors that show delicacy and purity. Very drinkable but not showing the stuffing and depth of the first bottle.

  • Very delicate but well focused aromas of sweet strawberry and red cherry fruit mixed with smoke, minerals, blood orange, caramel and a bit of brown sugar. Very good balance between the fruit and tertiary aromas at this point in its life span. Complete and elegant on the palate with a silky, creamy mouthfeel but with fresh acidity directing very pure, energetic flavors of red cherry, sous bois and sweet spices. Complex and complete
