Interesting, compared to the 2008 Domaine Saint-Martin wines bought from the same store. This wine has aged much more gently. Dark, almost black cherry colors, not yet faded. Dense smell, fruits tending toward darker colors. After a couple of hours - not as dense as a Clos de Beze, but a nice flavorful wine. Balanced, a bit thin on the finish and lacking that velvety feel mid palate. Also not a lot of secondary flavors coming through. Still a nice bottle of wine.

Bright red cherries, flowers and strawberries on the nose. The palate had some tea and some minerals. Ready to drink but prem cru quality.
