  • Medium golden color, given the vintage, showing color that i expected; no browning. Slow to show itself. Baked lemon and lime, creme brulee, minerals, and vibrant. High notes on the palate; acid medium plus, but balanced, lychee and bright citrus friuts. Finish is sharp, with medium length and minimal intensity.

  • Oxidized, shot. Over the hill.

  • I am not happy with this wine. The cork had an off smell, and I was worried this was a flawed bottle. Golden yellow color. Plenty of exotic fruit on the nose; apricot, peach, honeymelon and some heat. Fat texture. Exotic fruit on the palate as well with the alcohol sticking out. I'm not sure if this bottle is flawed or not, but the wine is out of balance and not a pleasure to drink today.

  • Golden yellow - suprisingly deep color for such a young wine. Seemed a bit clumsy, ripe and hot compared to the Raveneau. Suprising as JM Morey usually make wines of real purity and class. Maybe it was just a mistake to serve it after the Chablis. Rich texture, fat, almost oily. Exotic fruit profile, honey and marzipan. Lacks freshness and minerality. The alcohol stuck out right after opening the bottle but got tucked in with air. An off bottle I hope.
