Nose of dark cherries with hints of mint, tobacco and red meat. Also a hint of 'cherry coke'. Bright cherries on the palatte with good acidity.   This bottle hit the spot. Really approachable right out of the bottle delivering big on elegant yet juicy dark cherry fruit. Unmistakable silkiness and weightlessness that shows Burgundian pedigree. As night wore on, the wine got a little darker and more structured but remained a superb drink. I will probably hold onto my other remaining bottle for a few years.

  Finally got to try this producer after hearing a lot of good things. On night one the bottle is defined by acidity on the palate - still showing young and a touch out of balance. On the second night the wine really opens up and softens to show very elegant profile with good concentration and structure. Lot of blueberries on the nose. The palate has dark cherries, gravel and white pepper notes. Nice long subtle finish. I like what I'm drinking and feel that there is good potential here with another 3-5 years in the cellar. 90+
