  • Celebrating La Saint-Vincent Tournante de Bourgogne 2016 à Irancy; 1/29/2016-2/2/2016 (Irancy - France): Transmitting elegance and security. Elegance for its silk touch and safety for that well-done work.
Aromas marked on the nose with wild strawberries and blackberries in season. Cherry, coal and some fresh meat notes are added.
There is depth and length on the palate. Don't forget this is also delicious. Really interesting.

Trasmite elegancia y seguridad.
Realmente interesante.

  • Red wine from Chablis, from one of the better producers in chablis. Weird stuff - incredibly savoury, with definite sea floor nuances, a bit of what I think is a green edge to the tannins, but not overwhelmingly so. Good balance - acidity, concentration, structure, everything is harmonious. The aroma and flavor profile though, so completely devoid of fruit. I liked it, especially with dinner. The wife, not as much. A challenging wine, and also rewarding, but not in a traditional sense.
