  • a great vintage and a great producer but a modest terroir. the wine is still pleasurable although the bouquet is not forthcoming and the acidity seems to overpower the fruit. although this was good value and an interesting learning experience as we begin to explore burgundy in greater depth, i don't think i would go after more.
