  In response to BR, this is just an ordinary Burgundy. not nearly as enticing as the $14 Chad 2008 pinot we had beforehand. Aromas were savory, not floral or sweet. Good structure on the palate,so well integrated. But not special.

  Robe très sombre sur une tonalité rubis. Nez lacté, un peu végétal, céleri, se met e place à l’aération. Matière souple, très équilibrée sur une acidité fondue. Grande finesse de milieu de bouche avec un côté délicat. Grain tannique fin mai avec des tanins abondants. Petite sécheresse sur la longue finale. (P.Essa)

The dark colored wine gave off notes of red currant, spice, vanilla, cherries and violets. Mid weight on the palate, the middle seemed hollow (does this fill out over time?) and the taste was less complex than the fragrance. The wine filled out nicely on day two with more fruit on the palate and flavors included charcoal, coffee, cherries and spice. Very nice, but I was not knocked off my chair (I don't have enough experience to know if it is the stage of the wine or if it is just a middle-of-the-road Burg.). I'm tempted to pick up another bottle to see what this is like in another 10 years.
  
  I would be interested to know if anyone has had experience with this producer and how the wines age.
