Independence Day Wines (Farpointe Cellar): Apple and butter on the nose, with floral notes and cake spice underneath. There also a nuttiness at the end. Less oaky on the palate, and much fruiter than the nose. The floral notes come on in the middle, and it finishes with a spicy nut flavor.

good mouth feel with plenty of acid & mineral notes to balance the fruit.

Refreshing with only a hint of oak and butter. Really nice and pleasant. A great diversion from the ordinary "over-oaked" chardonnay.
