Beautiful earthy nose of decaying leaves, mushroom, wild raspberry and blackberry with cooling herbaceous notes. Palate is powerful yet restrained with the earthy components (pine resin) playing up front and hints of high toned fruit (blackberry) popping up here and there. In a great place right now with a good balance of primary fruit and secondary savory tones.
This bottle was a bit advanced/slightly oxidised with muted character and a bit absent all the way around. Opened up a bit with time but never really "sound" through the evening. Like the other bottles of this before, it would be around 86-87+ points. Showed a bit of its texture still with some intriguing mineral notes throughout.
To timer i åpen flaske.
A very delicate nose at first, with aromas of clove, dried rose petal, sous bois and strawberry and cherry liqueur come through on the nose intermingled with various soil tones and showing a bit of caramel and brown sugar. This shows more midpalate sweetness than the '07 Fuees although not as much freshness or minerality nor the same depth of the Sentiers VV. Well balanced acidity works well and brings freshness to the red licorice tinged fruit. Developing well and drinking good right now.
