This bottle aged way better than I expected. Tannins were near totally resolved. Exotic nose--asian spice, sandalwood. Black fruit and toasty oak on the palette. I had bought this when I tended towards more extracted styles. No longer the case. Reminded me of Aussie shiraz in that it was quite port like but had aged well. Doubt there are many of these left in cellars, but I wouldn't hold any longer. Unabashedly new world but still very enjoyable and quite a bargain for the $30 I paid for it in 2002.

Did a pop and pour, didn't give much time to air. Very nice bottle, drinking well, tannins were well integrated. Probably should be drinking these up over next couple of years. No detailed notes taken.

Drink on the cold side. Don't look to discuss the intracacies of this wine with anyone, just drink and enjoy the fruit: who cares what berries you can think of (does anyone really have a fix on boysenberry flavor vs blackberry anyway). After all of the crap that we wind up drinking, this wine is meant to enjoy. Won't last much longer, so if got some bottles drink now.

T-Vine Tasting (Jeff & Lori's): A deliciously simple wine. Dark ruby/inky black with a nose of spicy blackberry and rich blueberries with smooth and integrated flavors of boysenberry, blackberry, spice and pepper. Not complex but packed full of flavors.

Simple and simply good. Fruit still there -- dark, inky and round. Tannins subsided completely; ready to go now.
