Community Tasting Notes (4) Avg Score: 86.8 points

  • Similar to previous notes.
    Medium Garnet.
Clean nose. Medium (+) intensity aromas of dried fruits (sour cherry, strawberry), earth, vegetal, savoury, smoke. Fully developed.
Dry palate, medium acidity, medium fine tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, flavours similar to the nose, tertiary flavours dominate. Medium (+) finish.
Very good quality mature village level Burgundy, still drinking well, but losing its freshness although acidity enough to balance the fruit and tannins fully resolved. Drink now, not suitable for further ageing.

  • Garnet. Fully developed. Tertiary flavours dominate - earth, vegetal, dried fruits - dried sour cherry, smoke. Acidity in balance with the fruit; tannins ripe and fully resolved. Decent length finish. This bottle retained greater freshness than the previous one but I'd still recommended drinking up in next 12 months.

  • Not very expressive. Fine, light with some earth but not a great deal going on on either Day 1 or Day 2. Limited nose. Some punch at the finish.
