Tasted by Jwobkk on 12/31/2009 & rated 92 points: Amazing NV champagne. I love the yeasty flavor profile. So complex and satisfying. (339 views)
Tasted by AllRed on 12/7/2009 & rated 92 points: Pale color. Notes of citrus, Granny Smith apple, almonds and toast. Medium texture, with flavors of apple, lemon peel, marzipan and biscuit with crisp acidity. Lively. (526 views)
Tasted by gverreydt on 11/23/2009: begint al platjes te worden. Stop blijft smal na opening. (643 views)
Tasted by gverreydt on 8/20/2009: bubbels waren bijna weg (1091 views)
Tasted by Anonymous on 7/13/2009 & rated 90 points: No formal notes. Nice autolytic characters. Excellent. (1091 views)
Tasted by the godfather on 5/3/2009 & rated 92 points: yeasty, vibrant, and very complex (1318 views)
Tasted by Jwobkk on 5/2/2009 & rated 91 points: Excellent. A rich and full bodied Champagne with lots of tiny bubbles. Crisp with a long finish. (1295 views)
Tasted by steffenpelz on 4/11/2009: With sushi tonight at Austin's Tomo Dachi. As usual, a very reliable NV Champagne that is so fresh and zingy that it goes as well with Sushi as any Champagne I've ever had. Great tart apple and driness. Bead and mousse are fine. Lovely to drink and it drinks so nicely right now that I will likely drink my last bottle of this fairly soon.. (1389 views)
Tasted by J Dogg on 1/1/2009: Smells like almost very dark toast, with an acidic lemony finish. Not bad, and price is pretty good for a real Champagne, but I liked the NV Pierre Peters better. (1453 views)
Tasted by Anders C J on 1/1/2009 & rated 89 points: Great N.V champagne. Dry and fresh with minerals and some fruits. Excellent as apertif but also to fish. (1513 views)
Tasted by bon vivant on 11/23/2008: Had for starters on Mourvedre & White Rhone night -this is finally settling into a good point in it's evolution (purchased in 2005) Still crisp & vervey it has developed a smoother creamier mouth feel than previous bottles. If it keeps on this track it should be at it's peak in about 2-3 more years. Good BdB which is entering the sweet zone. (1554 views)
Tasted by louisl on 11/15/2008 & rated 92 points: Great yeasty nose and flavor. My type of Champagne. Could use a little more weight to balance out the flavor, but overall a great value. (1571 views)
Tasted by slaton on 12/31/2007 & rated 90 points: Very fresh, with lemon peel, lemon drops, chalk, sweetness kept in check by steely acidity. Powerful, but quite young and unevolved. Good value. No disgorgement information given; label is different from that shown. (1938 views)
Tasted by sunalsorises on 12/24/2007 & rated 90 points: Great value. Excellent finish. Nice crisp mouth feel. (2004 views)
Tasted by steffenpelz on 10/25/2007: My last bottle of this. Excellent as usual. Always a very dry style with a good bit of apple, crushed rock, and brioche. My favorite Champagne producer, especially considering the price for these beauties. (2113 views)
Tasted by cvvhrn on 10/13/2007 & rated 88 points: Dinner at Robs and Carolynes (Robs House): Not too bad. Light and fruity on the nose with a palate of guava, pineapple and apples. Nice finish. paired well with the lobster. (2338 views)
Tasted by Robert_Stockholm on 9/15/2007 & rated 90 points: Incredibly powerful and impressive for this price; I would have guessed that this wine was at least 2-3 times the price if I didn't know what I was drinking! Came directly from the shelf now in September. Strong taste of toffeee, butter and raisins, and with a quite high acidity. I am sure the wine would last quite long in a cellar as well and get even better. Best value for money I have ever had from Champagne! (2249 views)
Tasted by tanglenet on 9/8/2007: Poured at a tasting at K&L: softer than the Launois Quartz with the same nuttiness common in all the wine. But the wine retained an earthy mustiness that was not appealing. Fair. (2297 views)
Tasted by AllRed on 8/2/2007 & rated 93 points: Opened before dinner with friends at the Anvil Club. Aromas of cashews and yeast/dough dominate, with soft citrus tones emerging with a bit of air. Medium textured bead, with yeasty pear and biscuit flavors picking up some mineral and caramel tones on the finish. (2243 views)
Tasted by blgros on 7/4/2007 & rated 88 points: great aroma, interesting tropical flavors, just didn't like the grapefruit bitterness at the end. (2355 views)
Tasted by pea on 6/23/2007 & rated 87 points: (1994 views)
Tasted by jaybdavis on 12/19/2006: From the new bottle type - not as much green apple notes as previous bottles (2635 views)

France - When it comes to wine, France stands alone. No other country can beat it in terms of quality and diversity. And while many of its Region, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne most obviously, produce wine as rare, as sought-after and nearly as expensive as gold, there are just as many obscurities and values to be had from little known appellations throughout the country. To learn everything there is to know about French wine would take a lifetime. To understand and appreciate French wine, one only has to begin tasting them. Click for a list of bestselling items from all of France. Sub-Region:

Champagne - The French region of Champagne (comprised of the towns of Rheims, Epernay, and Ay) was the first region in the world to make sparkling wine in any quantity. Today, the name of the region is synonymous with the finest of all sparkling wines, and winemaking traditions of Champagne have become role models for sparkling wine producers, worldwide. Surprisingly, the region of Champagne is now responsible for only one bottle in 12 of all sparkling wine produced. Styles of champagne range from the basic brut (often blends of several vintages), single vintage champagnes, and rose.
