Rarely do I "get" specific flavor elements, but this bottle on this day delivered very noticeable pineapple flavors with persisted for a while. This seemed to be a nicely crafted wine, certainly enjoyable without a bunch of drama. This bottle seems a good example of why champagne (as well as metodo classico wines) should be an everyday drink!
Over three years of aging for this NV have dramatically improved overall aromas and texture making this a truly special Champagne. Lots of brioche, mushrooms and delicate bead. Plenty of acidity to balance richness.
