Completely resolved and time to drink up. Though the pleasurable nose, with its light cherried oak, leads to some mild remaining fruit with some lift, the off-putting finish stifles the engagement.

Fruity nose. Dark ruby color. Plum and raspberry on the palate with a black pepper and earthy finish. Quite a unique taste, but good. Not much tannin, but with the finish it didn't seem necessary.

Medium purple. Starting to show some age around the edges. Meat, barnyard, a little anise and some vanilla. Odd finish on the sides of the tongue. Only minimal tannins remain. This one is not going to hold much longer.

Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. One hour decant. Nice integrated fruit - plums, earth/pepper. It's elegant on the palate with medium concentration, finishing with some fine tannin. Appealing in a lighter, pretty style. Drink or I would hold for one more year.

Earthy and spicier nose than the '01 tasted side by side with cinammon notes. Some cherry on the palate and earth qualities. Short, drying finish.
