70s French Wines (Jade Palace Seafood Restaurant, Forum): Dark ruby with mature brownish tinge. Elegant nose, earth, soy sauce, sour cherry, blackcurrant, dried fruits and hints of licorice. Still holding well on palate and showing good structure. Subtle mouth-feel, sour cherry, dusty earth and soy sauce. Very well balanced with good acidity. Long lingering finish with some spicy notes and fine tannins with soft grip. A surprisingly good start to tonight's 70s French wines theme.

from large format showing very strong. Earthy, mushrooms, underbrush, a bit rough. Not a long finish but a good wine.
