| Community Tasting Notes (average 88 pts. and median of 88 pts. in 3 notes) | | | Tasted by Brad L on 10/7/2007: Very good, not great, slightly funky, well rounded, not as intense as typical for Jobard (given vintage), nice aged Meursault character, wrapping fresh acids. A tad diffuse. (618 views) | | | Tasted by Eric on 8/9/2005 flawed bottle: Dinner at La Zie with the NYC crew (New York, NY): Corked! (2530 views) | | | Tasted by Tubbs on 2/7/2005 & rated 88 points: Very dark gold, showing it's age. This was quite good offering one of my favorites: petrol. Oddly, the the petrol nose was quite forward without being overbearing. The fruit, (primarily apricot), and acid were much better balanced than I expected. Wish I had another bottle. (1029 views) |
| By Bill Nanson Burgundy-Report (8/1/2007) (Jobard Francois et Antoine Meursault Poruzots) Medium yellow. An understated but very pleasant nose. The palate has dimension, concentration and integration - It’s really very good. Lowish acidity but very tasty. | NOTE: Scores and reviews are the property of the Burgundy-Report. Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne)
Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

2007 annata di grande interesse anche per i rossi, leggibili ed espressivi come raramente avviene per i Borgogna così giovani.
