| | Tasted by corkscrews on 8/10/2010 & rated 89 points: A nose of dark fruit, dark amber in color. Blue and blackberries, licorice, some chocolate, medium to full bodied, not as bold or great as the 2005 vintage but a solid Cab, 2nd time tried in last couple months. www.winelx.com (174 views) |

| | Tasted by Tuffdawg on 5/7/2010 & rated 88 points: To me this tastes like the Sonoma cuvee but with more oak which adds a creaminess and some chocolate notes on trhe nose. I still get a bit of green but the palate is a bit more rich. Still very good for the money. (648 views) |

| | Tasted by vinole on 2/19/2010 & rated 90 points: Saw the good reviews on this wine and decided to try. Most places charge about $20 for this wine, but I found it for $13 in Miami (yes, it's the Napa, not the Sonoma). Well, I have to agree with the strong reviews. Drinks like a solid $30-40 Napa cab. Mostly juicy currant fruit, with good acidity, and a touch of oak. Very well balanced and has a 30 second polished finish. My go to <$20 CA cab had been the 07 Justin. This is better, and at $13, is probably the best CA cab value I have ever had. (1137 views) |
| | Tasted by wineglas on 2/12/2010 & rated 91 points: Medium purple. Nose with cherries, oak, and vanilla. On the palate classic toasted oak, vanilla, cherry, plums, and spice. Tannins are well represented here and paired with steak it was perfect. Really nice finish and it adds a floral element. For $15.83 on a case purchase a non brainer to have as an everyday Cab. Only the Waterstone 05 is better for this price point in the last year for me. (1495 views) |
| | Tasted by Screamin'Eagle on 2/1/2010 & rated 91 points: Outstanding Value! the 2005 was an overworked, overmanipulated wine with tons of oak treatment and microoxygenation contributing to its failure and banality. This 2006 on the other hand has made a complete 180. This wine has a very impressive nose of currants, leather, cedar, tobacco, even a bit of tar after some air. The mouth on it is refined and very elegent for its price range showing lots of focus and good complexity. Balanced fruit, tannin and alcohol and shows a bit of an acidic side to it that highlights it 20+ second finish of stewedd black fruit and plums. Extra points for a great QPR as it shows up similar competitors like Franciscan, Sterling, and Mondavi's comparable efforts for a slightly better price point. (1332 views) |

| | Tasted by drrdii on 12/23/2009 & rated 92 points: This was one of 19 wines in a 2005 Napa Cab blind tasting. Even though it is an 06, it was allowed in. It placed third ahead of some really pricey wines. Great value!!! (1518 views) |
