I really enjoyed this much more than the last two years of Bogle's basic Chardonnay. Very clear fruit notes in the nose. Really wonderful to close your eyes and just get a good whiff. Much more buttery character than I generally find at this price point. I'm happy with it and I will buy more.

Impressed again by Bogle. Consistently good wine, in a generic, but very drinkable way. Flowers and apricots. Slightly oaked, with a hint of steelyness. Drink right now. Save some money when you aren't looking to get deep with it. Their notes say....."Distinctively Chardonnay from the Clarksburg appellation, the aromatics shine of Bartlett pear and saucy apple. Mid palate, the texture shows off its silky, soft nature, allowing the creamy notes to envelop the fruit. New American oak adds nutmeg, vanilla and a hint of butterscotch to the finish, though never losing its perfectly balanced acidity.".......and these are pretty much spot on...........admitting it's a value wine also. Enjoy!
