  Dark in the glass with more blackberry than cherry fruit on the nose with some white pepper, spice, and even cassis. The palate is wonderfully balanced with great fruit, incredible tartness, nearly integrated tannins, and just a slight stewed note on the finish.   Intensely dark ruby in color with a medium nose of black cherry, herbs and earth. Full bodied, with high tannins pleasantly integrated, medium acid. Fruit forward gives way to a long, stony finish. Opened up beautifully after about 30-45 minutes.
