Honey golden. Years past drinkability... Don't remember buying it. Probably a gift from some party long past, buried in the racks half a decade too long... Or, a recent gift, having been on someone's frig-top for years.. Too bad. Was probably very acceptable in its day. Dumped it and cracked a '17 Chateau Ste Michelle Riesling Columbia Valley... Now we have a (young enough) drinkable white w dinner.
For the 368 bottles still showing in cellars, we're eager to see reviews as consumed; was it our bad bottle, or is this stuff really gone in general? We know our cellar "works" so we must have received this late in its life...

The warden found another bottle of this vintage. I just got back from the dentist after having my teeth cleaned. The combination is probably deadly, like drinking battery acid. Off to open a boddington's which is more enjoyable anyway.

Where did this come from? Found it in the back of the garage refrigerator, hiding behind a few sodas and a plastic container imprisoning a mystery from a dinner party gone by.
Not bad tropical fruit, wrapped in mellowed oak. Slight bite of acidity on the finish with lemon zest. Last glass was much better after a solid hour of air.

For California basic, it a good wine. Smooth with some vanilla and butter with crisp fruit.

Lots of oak and butter. My grandparents loved it.
