Clearly a wine going for a specific style. Reminiscent of a Plumpjack or Husic cab. Overripe plum, treacle, panforte and Ratatouille aromas. The palate is lush with more ripe fruit and a slight sweetnes but it lacks an underlying structure to really pull it off. The finish is medium short in length with a pretty abrupt fall off. Not unpleasant by any means but not a style I prefer.

Remarkable, this has the nose of a modern-styled Bordeaux, with a frame of toasty oak showcasing savory earth and sweet black fruit aromas. Perhaps more California-like on the palate, with ripe, mouthfilling texture, warm alcohol and herb and black cherry flavors.
