Sauvignon blanc is not among the grapes I care about, but I do recognize the effort the producer made here. This is quite aromatic on the nose with lime, apricots, salty scents and subtle gun flint. On the palate, this is fresh, lively with good acidity and very pronounced minerality. It reminds me a top-notch Sancerre, but less expensive. Besides, it's totally food friendly...it paired very well with fish seasoned with lemongrass. Very good. 89+

A balanced and flavourwise rather restrained Sauvignon Blanc. Bone dry. Has slightly more viscosity, alcohol and fruitiness than SBs from the Loire region.
