This is a meaty variety of Zinfandel. On the nose it has beef jerky, mud, and smoke. In the mouth sour cherries on the front and tobacco on the back but this is a very lightweight wine. There are dozens of supermarket Merlots that act like this. Not a good value for any Zin drinker.
Remember you don't drink the label.

Pepper on the nose, little butter on the finish. My introduction to Zinfandel, which means I'm not an expert.
