Still going strong. Pale and cloudy amber color. Looks oxidized. In the nose, this is murky at first, but with air it really blossoms. Typical Joly nose of slight oxidation, some botrytis, slate, but with a really fresh background composed of white flowers and lemongrass. Beautiful. In the mouth, this is quite spectacular, tight, forceful, but graceful, the 15% Vol. ABV are really well hidden, deep and complex minerality, nice acidity, long and nuanced finish. This is really excellent.

Giallo oro , naso frutta gialla, pesca , camomilla, leggera tostatura , agitandolo i profumi cambiano , minerale , floreale , miele , pera. In bocca bel corpo , equilibrato , si ripresentano tutti i frutti e le sfumature del naso , bel sorso rinfrescante

Leo's Blind Tasting Group - Nov '14 edition (Txikito, NY): Honeyed, floral, and faintly oxidative nutty and sherried aromas lead into a palate that seems very disjointed - sweet honeyed and creamy notes up front, but a blur of bitter alcoholic flavours on the back end with a lot of finishing heat. I disliked this even more than the Coulée de Serrant.

Monthly Tuesday group "The Dead Sparrow" #018: Nicolas Joly; Savennieres, Loire, France. (by DJ): Beautiful and clean bouquet with yellow and white fruits and some honey, apricots and straw. Same on the palate. Limestone minerals. Grapefruit bitterness and good citrus acidity. Also some white fruits and fennel. Fresh wine without oxidized impression.
