  • 100% Pinot Noir
    from old vines (~1929) in Pas de Chats and Derrère Le Four parcels,
    organically farmed and horse-plowed since 1991.
    De-stalked. Fermented at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.
    6-8 day maceration. Aged 15-18 months in 2-3 use French oak barrels sourced from Rémond and Rousseau.

    B(alance)=2: Drying fruit and on-set tertiary flavors over high-tone acidity.

  • Mild red fruits bouquet. Smooth and silky with medium acidity on the palate. Well balanced and lovely bottle!

  • a fruit-forward offering, with the usual perfumed chambolle notes (the wine was a bit cold though, so this took some time). Not hugely tannic or with a long finish, and I don't think it will improve much - it is entry level Confuron. But lovely all the same.

  • Very pleasant. Colour garnet. Nose light but OK, taste medium length, rounded, well balanced, good Burgundy taste

  • Medium to dark red; very expressive fruity nose; nice and approachable, bold, dry tannic ending, easy without complexity; fruity; nice
