Nose was a bit tight. But on the palate the wine exploded with dark fruits, cherries and plenty of bitterness and some tannins at end. Who says you cannot enjoy a Dolcetto with 7 years of age? This was delicious and still full of verve. No sign of it peaking yet.

This is all about dark fruits, maybe a little heavy and lacking finesse but after some time, it develops a nice savory note which help lifting the wine. Overall not a bad wine but a little boring.
Aired some hours in the bottle. Purple color. Very clean nose of dark cherries, some flowers and herbs. Very elegant for a dolcetto and smooth finish. Good structure that goes well with homemade lasagne. Until now the best dolcetto I've ever tasted and I've drunk a lot! Some people say they never like dolcetto, but they should try this from one of the best producers in Langhe.

Delicate nose with typical dolcetto nose with black cherry, violets, almond, herbal notes. Clean and transparent. On the mouth it begins quite elegant with high balance, round with some juicyness but rapidly the structure with fine tannins takes place. The finish is a bit rustic but in a positive way. Good length. Really nice with lasagne !!
